For added patient convenience and comfort, Dr Halbrecht has now added an MRI to the office. The C-Scan is an open extremity MRI scanner that can scan injured joints.
Breakthrough technology allows patients to relax in a comfortable padded lounge chair while being scanned, and avoid the confined space required by traditional MRI machines.
Scans are sent electronically by tele-radiology to expert musculoskeletal radiologists and read and interpreted within four hours. Patients are given a CD with their scan results immediately, and typed reports are available to treating physicians by fax within 24-48 hours.
